How account data is used.

Information We Collect

Brain-Course may store your email address, login identifier, display/profile details you choose to add, access status, purchase or subscription status, the billing terms and policy versions you accepted, support messages, contact-form submissions, and course activity data if progress tracking is enabled.

Google Sign-In Data

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google provides Brain-Course with your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier through the basic openid, email, and profile permissions. Brain-Course uses this information only to create and authenticate your account, display your chosen profile information, associate your saved learning progress and access status with the correct account, and respond to account support requests.

Brain-Course does not receive your Google password and does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts, or other Google services. Google Sign-In information is handled through Supabase authentication and the Brain-Course account database, protected in transit with HTTPS and by account authentication and database access controls. It is not sold or provided to advertisers. It is shared only with service providers needed to operate authentication, hosting, support, security, and the course, and is retained or deleted under the retention terms below.

Saved Highlights

When you use the lesson highlighter, Brain-Course saves your selected passages, colours, and their locations to your account so they can appear on your other signed-in devices. Highlighting and erasing edits are kept to support Undo and device syncing. Your browser also keeps an account-specific copy and queues changes during connection interruptions. Ending a trial or subscription does not erase your saved highlights. You can erase highlights directly from a passage; signing out hides them on that device.

Brain Lab

You can use Brain Lab without an account. Signed-in players save only their best score and completed-set count; guest scores and individual answers are not sent to their accounts. Your browser remembers when the optional free-trial invitation has appeared, so it does not keep repeating.

Passwords

Passwords are handled by the account system and are not visible to Brain-Course. Brain-Course cannot read your password. You are responsible for choosing a strong password and keeping your login private.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to create and maintain accounts, check access to paid course pages, respond to support requests, process account-related messages, prevent misuse, improve course features, and maintain records needed to operate the site.

Promotional Emails

Eligible personal accounts may receive Brain-Course friend-invitation offers. Each promotional email includes a link to stop promotional emails; essential account and payment updates continue.

Friend Invitations

If you follow a personal invitation link, Brain-Course records its invitation code and visit time to attribute a later signup. A temporary cookie may preserve that invitation during sign-in. Account identifiers, email-confirmation status, earned rewards, and email-delivery records are used to operate the offer. Referrers see their reward totals and access or payment dates, not their friends’ email addresses.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Brain-Course may receive purchase identifiers, plan details, trial and renewal dates, billing status, consent evidence, and access status needed to unlock or manage the course, but Brain-Course does not collect or store full payment card numbers. Email-domain checks may be used to limit disposable-account and trial abuse.

Sharing

Brain-Course does not sell or rent personal account data. Information is not posted publicly. Limited data may be shared with service providers that help operate login, payment, hosting, email, analytics, support, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Optional Advertising Measurement

If you arrive through a Brain-Course Google advertisement, we ask whether you want to allow optional advertising measurement. Google advertising tags load only after you choose Allow measurement. Declining does not affect account creation, the free trial, or course access.

With permission, Google may receive advertising click identifiers, cookie and device information, an IP address, a limited page address, and confirmation that a new seven-day trial has become active. A non-identifying conversion reference helps prevent duplicate counts. Brain-Course does not send Google your name, email, account identifier, payment details, answers, highlights, or lesson activity through this measurement. Enhanced conversions and personalized-ad signals are disabled.

We retain this browser's measurement choice and campaign-visit time for up to 30 days. You can change your choice using Ad measurement on the site's public entry pages or this privacy page. Withdrawing permission stops further measurement and clears advertising cookies accessible to this site; it does not recall information already received by Google. We honor browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track requests. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Retention and Deletion

Account, purchase, access, and support records may be kept while your account is active and as needed for tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, security, or legal records. You can ask about account data or deletion through the contact page.
